Polar Tips

A sample screen capture of the Polar software is below. The red line is heart rate, brown is altitude, green is speed, yellow is temperature, light blue is pace for the laps I entered manually while riding or with the software afterwards. The background colors represent different heart rate zones. 186 is my max so the red is sub-lactate threshold, orange is sub-threshold, green is tempo, optic yellow is aerobic, yellow is recovery, and blue is sedate. Average speed for the ride was 17.2 and max was 41.6. There can be 9 of these per day in the diary, which also tracks the number of calories burned. Some other interesting views are the calendar and histograms for time in zones. This is a great training and coaching tool!
